After finishing the museum visiting transfer to the citadel of salladein where is facing the moqqatam hills ,Salladein built the citadel by 1171 AD in order to be a residence place for his palaces ,soldiers and horses and to be like a defence fortress against the enemies. The citadel exceeded with two mosques ,first the mosque of Nasser mohamed Ibn qalawoun at mamluk period.and at the reign of mohamed Ali he built the alabaster mosque by 1830 to imitate the design of Aya Sofya church in turkey. Finally we gonna move on to visit the coptic or old cairo where including the three religions monuments ,the Christianity, Islam and Judaism as we have the hanging church where it was built on the two towers of papylon fortress and dedicated for the Holly Saint Mary. It is considered the Egyptian coptic church .old cairo contains Saint George church the Orthodox Roman church dedicated to Saint George martyard. The area including the Saint Barbara church and also the synagogue of Ben Izra the jewish temple but it closed because of the renovation . By old cairo we finished .
