Day 1: PARIS LOUXOR
Arrival in LOUXOR, welcome by our local correspondent. Transfer to the pier and welcome aboard your cruise ship 5 * welcome drink. Installation in the cabins then dinner. Lodging .
2 nd Day- LOUXOR / ESNA / EDFOU
Breakfast . Departure to the Theban Necropolis on the west bank of the Nile. In this desert valley 62 graves have been discovered but they are not all open to the public. You will visit one or two tombs in the Valleys of the Kings and These visits will be the pretext for an excellent approach to pharaonic civilization.
You will then proceed to DEIR EL BAHARI to visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen HASTSHEPSOUT, designed by the architect Senmouth. Then visit the Alabaster factory. On the way back, stop in front of the two Colossi of Memnon. Late return on board and lunch. Departure and navigation to Edfu after crossing the ESNA lock. Afternoon relaxation on the bridge admiring the banks of the Nile. During the navigation, afternoon tea served on board with tea and coffee, accompanied by pastries.
3rd Day- / EDFOU / ASSOUAN
Breakfast buffet . Departure by carriage to the temple dedicated to the God Horus, built in the Ptolemaic period, and visit of this temple, the best preserved of all Egyptian temples.
Return on board for lunch Sail to KOM OMBO for the guided tour of the KOM OMBO Temple. Dominating the most languid curves of the Nile, built on an Acropolis among palm trees, this temple dedicated to the crocodile god SOBEK, has a particular charm. You will find there an abundance of serious texts in hollow and in relief, as well as “Nilometers” which made it possible to evaluate the importance of the floods of the Nile and thus to determine the amount of the taxes… Breakfast buffet.
